good morning,
good morning
little Susie sunshine
I welcome your return …
(and not a moment too soon)

I have yearned for
your happy face
that frilly collar
of finest lace
understated
elegant grace

welcome home,
welcome home
most dear
little Susie sunshine
whose bright warmth
has brought a beaming smile
to this winter-weary
heart of mine
